My working methods
Scientifically sound and practical
The view of the whole
My thinking and actions are based on my scientific education with a focus on social and communication sciences and especially on their systemic applications. In-depth further training in design thinking and positive psychology complement my competencies in counselling and coaching.
Equally important for my work are the practical and emotional experiences I have gained in numerous projects and in exchange with people from the most diverse cultural backgrounds. In doing so, I have learnt to engage with the situation of my interlocutors and at the same time to keep an eye on the whole - person, team, organisation, and the further context. This enables my clients to mobilise their resources, formulate goals, try out new options and successfully overcome obstacles.
I work with methods and tools that have been empirically tested and show demonstrable evidence and effectiveness. Depending on the situation and the issue, I suggest different approaches in the course of the counselling and coaching process and transparently discuss their application and the expected benefits.

Offer
First consultation
Free of charge
The first exchange is to get to know each other and about how to work together. I will try to understand the situation and expectations, and answer questions about process and methods. Based on this, I prepare an estimate of cost for our work.
Clear and transparent
In the individual offer, the major questions and goals as well as the process steps and the cost frame is set out in writing. The offer is based on the guidelines of the Swiss Professional Association for Coaching, Supervision and Organisational Consulting (bso.ch).
Focus on needs and resource
In joint discussion, an overall picture of the situation and challenges emerge, initial solution alternatives are developed and decisions are prepared. These results are visualized and documented. Based on this, the client decides whether and how the process should continue.
Trying out and reflecting
The alternative solutions and decisions are being further specified, tested and their effects evaluated. In this way, one or two concrete prototypes are created and then prepared for the next process step (transfer).
Sustainably integrated
into everyday life
The steps of action and changes are implemented in the intended context. Networks and cooperations are built up, new habits and rituals are established. The feedback of stakeholders and self-reflection can be used to evaluate the achievement of goals.
